Comamidopropyl Betaine

Cocamidopropyl betaine is a very mild surfactant which does not irritate skin or mucous membranes. It also has antiseptic properties, making it suitable for personal sanitary products. It is compatible with other cationic, anionic, and nonionic surfactants.

Coconut Diethanolamine

Alkanolamides are nonionic surfactants impart excellent viscosity enhancing and foam stabilization in anionic based systems like hand washing liquids, shampoos, body cleansers and other personal care products. They act as lubricant agent, thickening agent and wetting agent.

Acusol 820 (a viscosity enhancer)

This helps make a “thicker” product, which is strictly an esthetic consideration, as opposed to having a “watery” product.

Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate is a compound that dissolves in water and has positive and negative charges. It is very mild and often used in no-rinse formulas and baby-care products.

Like many surfactants, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate is originally derived from coconut.
